In May 2025, the Amazon logistics center in Passo Corese, in the province of Rieti, Lazio, opened its doors to a selection of local entrepreneurs for a day of training and discussion on innovation topics. A pilot project following its inception in the United Kingdom, the Amazon Innovation Accelerator supports the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, promotes a culture of innovation, and contributes to the development of local areas. During the event, Amazon's selling partners worked according to the "Working Backwards" method in order to build a useful and genuine strategy for the development of their business. During the event, our on-site presence allowed us to strengthen solid relationships with businesses selling on Amazon and to enhance local media coverage, as the event was open to the press. In the presence of Amazon leadership and local institutions, the event achieved media coverage equivalent to 155 articles, both among local media and at the national level.
