Park Italia plants over 14,000 trees in the Malcontenta area (Venice)

Parco Italia, the reforestation program born from the collaboration between Stefano Boeri Architetti and AlberItalia, together with VSF, the Veneto Region, and Amazon, announces the planting of 14,320 trees in an area of 9 hectares in Malcontenta, within the Municipality of Venice. This represents the largest planting carried out so far within the national reforestation program Parco Italia, which aims to plant the first 70,000 trees and shrubs by the end of 2024. Parco Italia, promoted by Stefano Boeri Architetti and the AlberItalia Foundation, is a project initiated thanks to a €2 million investment from Amazon's Right Now Climate Fund, a $100 million initiative supporting climate resilience and the conservation of the natural environment.
