A new study conducted by Amazon and TEHA highlights a significant divergence in foreign direct investment (FDI) flows between Spain and Italy: from 2015 to 2024, Spain attracted 304 billion euros in FDI, compared to the 191 billion euros recorded by Italy. The research identifies the main factors underlying this 113 billion euro gap and suggests concrete policy actions to enhance investment attractiveness in both countries.
